The Roland CII Walfisch (Whale) made it's operational debut in October 1915 and stayed in front line service until the end of autumn 1917.  Designed and manufactured by Luft-Fahrzeug-Gesellschaft or G.m.b.H.  The Whale had very effective fields of fire armed with a forward firing synchronized machine gun and one ring mounted machine gun for the gunner/observer, it was also capable of carrying a respectable compliment of bombs.  The main drawback to the CII was that it was somewhat sluggish in maneuverability and heavy, but also reported to be able to withstand a good amount of punishment.

1 model aircraft made from 1/16 inch Ash wood, included 1 flight stand made of 1/8 inch Birch plywood and two magnets.

Some assembly required.
