The French light bomber/ground attack/recon aircraft built in 1924, made of metal and wood the wings and the tail were covered with canvas. The Breguet XIX had 1 forward firing Vickers gun, two rear mounted Lewis guns for the gunner/observer and another machine gun firing downward and to the rear.
The French built Breguet equipped much of the Spanish airforce so when the Spanish Civil War broke-out the aircraft was found in the hands of the both Nationalists and Republicans.
